Terms of Service
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our Uganda eVisa services.
Before using our website to get help with a Uganda visa or e-visa application, please take a few minutes to read through these Terms. By browsing our site or placing an order, you're agreeing to be bound by what's set out here.
We're a privately owned business, not the Government of Uganda, its Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control, or any Ugandan embassy or consulate — and we have no authority to grant visas ourselves. What we offer is guidance and processing support, for a service fee, to help you get your application right before it reaches the relevant authority.
We may revise these Terms from time to time, and the version published on our site at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order. Certain services may come with their own extra conditions, shown to you where relevant.
1. Setting Up an Account
If part of our service requires you to register, please give us information that's accurate, current, and complete — we depend on these details to handle your case correctly. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Applications relating to a child are submitted, and consented to, by a parent or legal guardian.
Keep your account details private, since you're responsible for everything that happens under your login. Please tell us right away if you think someone has accessed your account without your permission. We can't take responsibility for problems that arise from an account that wasn't kept secure.
2. Changes to What We Offer
We may modify, pause, or discontinue any part of our website or service at any time, for any reason, without giving advance notice, and without owing you compensation for doing so.
3. Using Our Service on Mobile
If you access our site through a phone or tablet, your mobile carrier's normal data and messaging charges may apply, and certain features might not work identically across every device. Placing an order means you agree that we — and any partners assisting with processing — may contact you by text or email regarding your application. Please update us if your phone number changes, so status updates don't reach the wrong person.
4. How Processing Works
Any processing estimate we show you is our best guidance, not a guarantee. The final decision on approval, and how long it takes, rests entirely with Ugandan immigration authorities, and can shift depending on their own workload and procedures. We're not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control — things like severe weather, outages on government systems, strikes, or civil unrest. Visa requirements can also change with little warning; we try to keep our site accurate, but it shouldn't replace checking with official government sources.
5. Cancelling Your Order and Refunds
When you can request cancellation
You may request cancellation of your order provided your application has not yet been sent to the relevant Ugandan authority for review. Standard orders generally allow a short window after placement in which cancellation can still be requested; rush or express orders allow a much shorter window, given how quickly processing begins. Please check the specific cancellation terms shown to you at the time of your order, as these can vary by service type. Once your file is under review or has already been approved, we're no longer able to cancel it.
Situations that affect cancellation and refunds
- If required documents or details aren't provided within the time we request, your order may be cancelled automatically, and no refund will apply.
- A rejected application can't be cancelled afterward, and the associated fee remains non-refundable.
- If you've accidentally placed two orders for the same trip, we can cancel the extra one, provided you let us know before it starts processing.
- If you've simply decided not to travel, that's fine — just tell us before processing has started.
- If we request additional documents and they aren't supplied in time, resulting in rejection, we may be unable to offer a refund.
- We can't refund fees where an application is rejected because of incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information you gave us. Ensuring your details are accurate is your responsibility, though we're always here to help along the way.
- If you believe you've been charged twice, please send proof of both transactions, and once we've verified this, we'll process a refund.
When you'll qualify for a refund
- You'll be eligible for a refund if you cancel before processing has begun.
- Genuine emergencies, such as sudden medical issues or unforeseen personal circumstances, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, depending on how far your application has progressed.
- Requests linked to a technical fault on our side will also be considered individually.
- Please double-check your visa category and travel dates before ordering, since changes aren't possible once processing has started — raise any concerns with us beforehand.
- If you selected the wrong visa type by mistake, a refund may be available if you contact us before your file reaches Ugandan authorities.
- Fees are non-refundable where a visa is refused due to your own prior immigration history or eligibility.
- Refunds are always returned through your original payment method.
Once your visa has been issued
Once a Uganda visa has been approved and issued, we're unable to cancel or refund the order, even if you later decide not to travel or use it. The fee remains payable regardless of your travel plans.
Processing of cancellations and your data
We act on cancellation requests promptly on our end. Refund transfer times depend on your card issuer or bank, and can vary accordingly. Once your application is cancelled, your personal data is removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
A few more details
A processing fee (an amount that may vary depending on currency) may be deducted from refunds to cover banking and administrative costs. We may pause a refund where an issue originates from the customer's side. Because of exchange-rate fluctuations, the refunded amount may differ slightly from what you originally paid.
6. Our Liability to You
We're not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses connected to your use of our service — including lost profits or lost data — even if we were made aware such losses were possible. Regardless of how a claim is presented, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant order.
We take reasonable steps, including encryption and secure servers, to protect your information. Even so, no online system can be made entirely secure, and we can't guarantee complete protection against hacking or breaches. We won't be liable for damage caused by a breach outside our reasonable control. Using strong, unique passwords on your side helps as well.
7. Payments
We process payments through established third-party providers and don't store your full card details on our own systems. Data shared with these providers is protected using SSL encryption, and we only partner with processors that meet high security standards.
8. No Warranty
Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether spoken or implied — including no promise that it will suit any particular purpose. Using our website and service is entirely at your own risk.
9. Changing Regulations
Uganda's visa regulations may be updated without notice, and we can't be held responsible for any resulting delays or costs. Where we're found liable for anything, our responsibility is limited to the fee you paid us for that particular order.
10. Cookies
We may use cookies and similar tracking tools to understand how our site is used and to improve it. You're free to adjust your browser settings to flag or block cookies if you'd prefer.
11. Information From Other Sources
We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand site traffic, and we might receive information about you if you choose to connect through a third-party account, like Google or Facebook.
12. Keeping and Sharing Your Data
We hold personal data only for as long as it's genuinely needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or restrict it — except where we must retain it briefly to handle disputes, meet legal obligations, or complete a fraud investigation. We may share your data with companies affiliated with us, with trusted service providers who help run parts of our business, or with authorities where the law requires it.
13. We're Not the Government
We're an independent, privately owned business with no connection to the Ugandan government or any embassy or consulate. Content on our website is offered in good faith, but we can't guarantee it's completely accurate, and using it is at your own risk.
14. Links to Other Websites
Our site may include links to other websites that we don't operate or control. We don't check, endorse, or take responsibility for their content or reliability.
15. Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this website should be treated as legal advice. Please speak with a suitably qualified professional before making decisions based on what you find here.
