Document Requirements for the Uganda Transit eVisa

The documents required for the Uganda Transit eVisa are as follows: 

1. Scanned copy of passport bio-page. The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of arrival.
2. Applicant Photo (Taken within 6 months of Uganda Transit eVisa Application submission)
3. Submit a transit letter stating the purpose of your transit and final destination.

Application Process for the Uganda Transit eVisa

1. Complete the Application Form and Select eVisa Type – Enter passport and travel details and, from the visa type drop-down menu, select the transit eVisa. 
2. Upload the Required Documents – Attach a scanned copy of all required documents.
3. Pay the eVisa Fee – Pay with a credit/debit card, paypal or cryptocurrency.
4. Receive the approved Transit eVisa – Once approved, your Transit eVisa will be delivered via email; print a copy for travel.

Uganda Transit eVisa Processing Times

The applicant can choose any one processing option while filling out the application form: 

• Standard Processing (6 - 9 Working Days) – Non-urgent travel plans.
• Rush Processing (4 - 7 Working Days) – Urgent travel plans.
• Super Rush Processing (3 - 5 Working Days) – Immediate travel plans.

Uganda Transit eVisa Fee 

The Uganda transit eVisa fee varies depending on the processing option selected by the applicant. The fee can be paid by using a credit/debit card or through other accepted payment methods.
